Jordan Vauvert Markov Soroka est une sorte de Déhà ukrainien : son label Vigor Deconstruct lui sert surtout pour ses créations personnelles (et elles sont à écouter parce que c'est un prodige) mais quand il promeut d'autres artistes, c'est forcément une bonne découverte. Inanition, démo du one-man band Ushangvagush, est un rodéo de raw black metal à tendances punk, doom et atmosphérique crachée avec une rage brûlante.
Et c'est aussi une nouvelle voix qui s'élève au sein de la population indigène américaine ! Favorite track: I.

Hayduke X A stellar start for this project. On this demo, elements of post-black and black n roll mix into the raw black metal template. Inanition is also something of a road map for the more fully developed sound on Mntu. Favorite track: III.

Dave Aftandilian Indigenous black metal with depth, density, and urgency. Nice variety of musical approaches, from full-out punkish assault to slower groove-focused, even doomish. The feel for me lands somewhere between the projects of the Prava Kollektiv and Ifernach. Listening to this you can hear the black heart beating in the heart of the forest, dripping hatred for settler colonialist violators.

YomaBarr Uneasy, unsettling, unnerving. Give me this full length now.

PannionSeer Vicious, immediate and atmospheric USBM. I cannot get enough of the tone on that lead guitar, it's just perfect. Favorite track: I.

Earthy, frustrated raw black metal. With this first demo, USHANGVAGUSH creates an atmosphere that won't immediately reveal itself to you. A listener could plunge into a mine or evaporate into the sky depending on which direction the cacophony takes. The statement seems to be clear -- by the end, there is little sanity left for anything other than exhaustion.
